Anastasia Marie Saldaña “Annie”, of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the age of 26. She was born on March 25, 1998, in Lubbock to Latasha Todd and Matthew Saldaña. Annie graduated from Wellman Union High School in 2016. She became a mother and spent her time taking care of her daughter, Averly, they were best friends, and anything they did, they did it together. Annie loved being a “Mommy” but most of all, she loved being a Mommy to her best friend.

Annie loved watching FRIENDS and was always quoting scenes from the show. Annie also loved music, and she would sing her favorite songs at the top of her lungs. She had a silly personality and was always laughing with her loved ones. She was always seen with a smile on her face and would light up any room that she walked into. She cherished her family and friends and would do anything for the people that she loved.

Annie also had a caring heart, she and her grandmother, Bettie Todd had a very close bond, once Annie left her earthly home to join her heavenly father, her grandma Bettie joined her just a few hours later. Both Annie and Bettie will be missed by all that knew them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Averly Burris; mother, Latasha Todd and husband Eric; her father, Matthew Saldaña; sister Mattie Saldaña and husband Jerry Infante and several extended family members and friends.

Annie is preceded in death by her daughter, Charlston Burris and her grandparents Jimmy and Bettie Todd, and Sam Saldaña.
