Alicia Gonzalez Arguellez

Funeral services for Alicia Gonzalez Arguellez will be held 10 am Saturday, 19, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Jose Kochuparambie officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Alicia was born in Yorktown on August 15, 1925. She married Jesus Arguellez on May 1, 1949 in Yorktown. Alicia was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a good mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved to sew and cook for the whole family. Best part of her life was her viejito, kids, and great-grand kids. Alicia adored her family with all her heart, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Arguellez, daughter, Diana Arguellez-Gonzalez, two brothers, Raul Gonzalez, Umberto Gonzalez, and sister, Luz Arteaga. Alicia is survived by nine children, Frances Perez, Flora Garcia, Jane Perez, Beatriz Arguellez, Cilvia Arguellez, Irene Davis, Gloria Martinez, Antonio Arguellez, Jesse Arguellez, Jr.; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
