Alfredo Martinez

Alfredo Martinez Sr. 57, of Brownfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 31, 2021, at Brownfield Nursing and Rehab Center. Alfredo was born in Edinburg, Texas to the late Guadalupe Martinez and Maria Marroquin on June 14, 1964. Alfredo was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them dearly, especially his grandchildren. Alfredo was also an avid sports fan and a lover of football. He was particularly fond of the Texas Tech Raiders and of course the Dallas Cowboys. Alfredo was also a lover of music, especially 80’s Rock and Roll. He would listen to artists such as Iron Maiden and other famous Rock artists of that time. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Janie Martinez of Brownfield, sons; Adrian Martinez, Julian Martinez (Adriana) all of Brownfield, daughter; Cerry Martinez of Brownfield, and 8 grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his fondest memories, his brothers; Alfonzo Martinez (Diana) of California, Armando Martinez of Brownfield, Guadalupe Martinez of Brownfield, Gilbert Martinez (Susana) of Brownfield, and sister; Joann Deleon (Junior) of Brownfield, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Monday September 6, 2021 5-8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care-Brownfield. Funeral services will be Tuesday September 7, 2021 10 a.m. at the same location with burial to follow in the Brownfield Cemetery. Services for Mr. Martinez are entrusted to the professionals Grace Funeral Care Inc.
