Read moreSEMINOLE – The Brownfield Cubs baseball team lost 10-0 to Lubbock Christian in the Cotton Classic on Friday, March 4th. The Cubs played at the Robert Ryan Baseball Field in Seminole. The Cubs trailed 2-0 after the second inning and kept the game close until the seventh inning when Lubbock Christian scored seven runs including a grand slam. After the game Cubs Head Coach Eric Morin spoke on the performance of his team.

Brianne Franco threw all five innings giving up four runs including a three run homer in the top of the fifth. She had three strikeouts and two walks. Head Coach Loren Phelps spoke on her team’s performance.
