Both Brownfield High School and Brownfield Middle School students shined at the auditions. Three Spirit of the Plains members made the Honor band, includingAubree Valenzuela (Trumpet), who also became an area qualifier, Braden Conn (Euphonium), who also became and area qualifier, and Briana Villarreal (Clarinet). Four other Spirit of the Plains members made the 3A/4A region band, including Olivia Perez (Clarinet), Isabella Cruz (Clarinet), Ethan A. Rodriguez and Laibyn Alvarado (Trombone).
