The Dow Jones Industrial set a record at a whopping 29,568 on Feb. 12. That seemed to be short-lived when the COVID-19 virus became prevalent in the coming days and the Dow lost over a 1000 points within eight days. The Dow then plunged from 28,037.65 to 19,028.36 on March 23. That was well over 10,000 points lost within a five week span. By the time May 14 had arrived, there would be over 39 million unemployed workers.
