Accolades continue to pile up for several Cub and Lady Cub hard ballers as coaches released All District honors Tuesday for baseball and softball players.

Topping the list is Isaias “Chili” Morin, who was named the District 2-4A Most Valuable Player for his work on the diamond this year.

He was one of the Cubs most reliable arms on the pitcher’s mound and also a trusty infielder and one of their hottest bats when needed in the rotation.

Also landing on the 2-4A First Team were Ruben Rodriquez for his talents at first base and Christopher Martinez for his work in the outfield.

Cubs second baseman Carlos Bazan earned a spot on the 2-4A Second Team.

On the girls team, standout player Sabrina Garza was named Defensive Most Valuable Player for District 2-4A.

Savannah Mendez received First Team honors for her work on the pitcher’s mound.

Two Lady Cubs — Makayla Perez and Brianna Bazan, landed on the First Team for their work in the outfield.

Three Lady Cubs landed on the 2-4A Second Team for their softball talents.

Kaitlyn Garza was honored with a roster spot as catcher, while Alyssa Perez was recognized at first base and Libby Guerra at second base.

There coaches congratulated the players and praised their work this season.
