Meadow High School and Wellman-Union High School both participated in the Area 3 Track Meet held recently at Peoples Bank Stadium in Wolfforth.
The top four finishers in each event qualify for Regional competition.

Cub netters grab 6th District title

The Brownfield Cubs tennis team ran away with their sixth consecutive district title last week, overwhelming the competition from Denver City, Levelland, and Seminole.

The Cubs now have district championships at the 2A, 3A, and 4A levels.

Brownfield Native Sheryl Swoopes headlines the six-member Class of 2017 that will be inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame this summer.

Swoopes, along with five other nominees, will be inducted officially on June 10 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Wildcats drop last game
