Lady Cubs defeat Lady Mustangs

The Brownfield Lady Cubs went to work in front of a packed house Tuesday night in Cub Gym, coming away with a convincing win over Midland Christian thanks to a dominant second half.

The Lady Cubs led, 8-5, after one and 17-11 at halftime.

But in the third quarter, Brownfield outscored Midland Christian, 17-4, to stretch their lead to 34-15 heading into the final frame.…

Cub netters grab 6th District title

The Brownfield Cubs tennis team ran away with their sixth consecutive district title last week, overwhelming the competition from Denver City, Levelland, and Seminole.

Swoopes gets spot in Hall
