Wildcats Get “W”

The Wellman-Union Wildcats were in another tight battle on Tuesday night. This time however, they ended up on the winning side of the scoreboard. The Wildcats out scored the Wilson Mustangs by a score of 44-42 to take the win in a road game.

With two starters, Martin Loewen and Braden Caldwell both at the Fort Worth Stock Show, the Wildcats were a bit short handed but you couldn’t tell it as they gave it all they had to win the game.…

The Wellman-Union Lady Cat woes continued as they fell to the Wilson Lady Mustangs by a score of 39-19. The Ladies, again playing with only five girls total, battled hard but could not pull the victory from the pesky Lady ‘Stangs.

Lady Cats Find the Win Column

The Wellman-Union Lady Cats finally found the win column on Friday night as they faced the Southland Lady Eagles. The final score was 40-32.

The Lady Cats were in control throughout the game, leading 21-13 at the half.
