Chamber urges local shopping

The Brownfield Chamber of Commerce is celebrating warm weather and hot deals at local retailers this weekend with its second annual Spring Fling weekend.

The Chamber is partnering with more than a dozen local businesses for the event and encouraging Brownfield residents to frequent their hometown stores.

Polls open Saturday to decide local races

Early voting closed on Tuesday in Terry County with a total of 713 votes cast. 48 voted in Meadow. 58 voted in Wellman and 607  voted in Brownfield.

Polls will open at 7AM on Saturday, May 7 and close at 7PM.
